While we usually think of pro bono work from the standpoint of attorneys "giving back," pro bono can also be a doorway to great opportunities for young lawyers.  Recent alumna Sara Ghadiri (’13) will share how pro bono work allowed her the chance to work on an amicus brief in the consolidated same-sex cases currently before the United States Supreme Court. Sara will share her experience and the issues addressed in the brief.

The program takes place at 12:40 p.m.
on Friday, February 6 in room 245, and is sponsored by CLP and the Career Services Office.

Attendance at one Lawyers & Leaders program each semester is one requirement for membership in the Pro Bono Society.
