The Pro Bono Society Executive Board had set April 8 as the deadline for May 2024 graduates to report Spring service hours. Pursuant to the Pro Bono Society Constitution, only hours reported by this deadline will be considered in determining whether a graduate has qualified for recognition at one of the three levels of the Boyd Service Award.

The levels of distinction for the Boyd Service Award are forth in Part XV(A)(c) of the Student Handbook, as follows:

  • Highest Honors: 200 hours total (at least 100 community service)
  • High Honors: 150 hours total (at least 75 community service)
  • Honors: 100 hours total (at least 50community service)
