Please join us for our next Lawyers & Leaders program featuring a discussion with Iowa Law alumnus Charles H. Dick, Jr.

The program is Ascending the Slopes of Professionalism: Is there a Role for Pro Bono Service? and will take place on Thursday, October 5 at 12:40 pm at BLB 285.
Lunch will be provided to students who RSVP to Diana DeWalle (diana-dewalle@uiowa.edu) by noon October 4.

Lawyers—whether in private practice, a corporate setting, or a government office—all face an array of pressures, ranging from earning client confidence, managing time, developing business, and ascending the professional ladder. Advancement follows from growth, and addressing the demands inherent in the practice of law will be important for personal and professional development. Rather than being an obstacle, community involvement and pro bono legal service are part of the solution.

Attendance at one Lawyers & Leaders event each semester is one requirement for membership in the Pro Bono Society.
