The University of Iowa Center for Human Rights will host a panel discussion on representation for indigent

defendants in Iowa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, at the Old Capitol in Iowa City. Panelists include State Rep. Mary Wolfe (D) from Clinton, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee; Steve Drahozal, Assistant Dubuque Public Defender and chair of the Iowa State Bar Association's Criminal Law Section Council; Prof. Celesta Albonetti, UI Department of Sociology; and Dr. Brian Farrell, UI College of Law and President of the Innocence Project of Iowa.

This event is designated as a Lawyers & Leaders event. Attendance at one program each semester is one requirement for membership in the Pro Bono Society.
