Chris Fabricant, Director of Strategic Litigation at the Innocence Project, will discuss how over 50% of wrongful convictions are attributable, at least in part, to the misuse of forensic sciences. In addition to sharing stories of his clients' struggles for freedom chronicled in his new book Junk Science and the American Criminal Justice System, Fabricant will discuss the history of the use of unreliable expert testimony in American criminal courts and the Innocence Project's efforts to bring scientific integrity to the justice system.

Attendees are invited to stay for refreshments, conversation, and book signing after the program.
