For several years, Shelter House has participated in National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week held in November the week before Thanksgiving. NHHAW is an annual program where people come together across the country to drive more attention to the issues of poverty, hunger, and homelessness and is the perfect time to share our compassion and daily work with others as we endeavor toward a world where no one has to experience hunger or homelessness.

What can you do? Join Shelter House during this week (Nov. 16 – 22) and contribute to a national social movement. Check out the schedule of educational, service, fundraising, and advocacy events available here to see how you can make a difference. All events open to everyone!
