Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities in October 2016
Please consider mentoring a student at one of our local schools! Mentors are needed for elementary, junior high, and high school students.
On Thursday, Sept. 29 at 12:40 in 225 BLB, American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) members Stephen Doohen, Tim Semelroth, Dan Shuck, & Judge Christopher Bruns will facilitate this program aimed at increasing civility and courtesy in the legal profession.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County will have an information table from 9 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, August 31st in the BLB lobby. For a great break from Law School AND a worthwhile volunteer experience please consider mentoring a local youth. You can make a positive contribution and have fun at the same time.
The Citizen Lawyer Program is now accepting applications for its Fall 2016 Pro Bono Projects. Interested students should review project descriptions and apply via Symplicity
